Photography has done so much more than just make some pretty images and be done.  I have literally walked through some of my life's biggest pains and made art IN that pain.  This is a portion of my journey.  The personal portraits tell a story about a time in my mind & heart where both a struggle and a healing occurred.  I can immediately go back into these images and remember the feeling AND the pains.  Life is a gift, so I'm living it!
