This series of like-aesthetic Fine Art images were created November 2020 with an interesting texture & prop component of dead flies. The series/story came to me as I had several weeks without creation and ideas came flowing FAST. I tell the story of the character portrait with abstract flies, then in a place of confinement and then redemption and freedom. Photography always inspires me when I pick it up to connect with myself and with others! Follow along in the slideshow for this series, I'm so happy with it!
This Fine Art Photography set was created mid-session inside the trees. The sunlight was just barely coming out to play and her hair caught the light perfectly. These portraits were just WAITING to come out to play! See all 3 images in the slide above.
If you guessed Little Red Riding Hood - you would be incorrect! The inspiration came from M.Night Shyamalan's movie The Village located in Covington Woods. When I visited Covington KY it was only fitting that I do a Fine Art Portrait Photography series in "Covington Woods". Yes, I'm THAT movie nerd! You can witness the 3-part series in the slideshow.
This set of 3 is in the works - thus the completion of the 4x3 image sets with Alyse. The dress in this Fine Art Portrait Photography series wraps back into the year 2014 when I found the dress at a thrift store in New Hampshire.
I'm so fortunate to know a model that brings skulls and bones to a Fine Art Photography shoot when I tell them the theme! As we were scouting the woods - we all saw things that inspired us and I had to snap a BTS of us working!
