DESTINATION WEDDINGS!

 Jen was, hands down, the best decision I made for my wedding (out of a day chock full of lovely vendors!). We didn't think we could afford a professional photographer (Destination Weddings style) , but I fell in love with her work online so I just e-mailed her out of the blue. I am so glad I did! She is so friendly, fun, and attentive. It was like having an old friend there taking pictures, except her work is beyond professional - phenomenal! She really paid attention to the details of our wedding and our personality, and captured that in her work and throughout the day. She even brought gifts tailored to the theme of our wedding so we could take super amazing wedding party pictures with them. Her work is beautiful and all that I could have asked for !

 Jen was fantastic from the first time I contacted her. I contacted three or four wedding photographers about our Time Travel/Dr Who wedding, and she was the only one who responded with enthusiasm!
She was relaxed, fun, and really easy to get along with. It was more like hanging out with a friend than being followed around by someone you hired, and she the most awesome photo ideas. She also was very accommodating when we came up with weird and fun ideas. 

She was very responsive through out the entire wedding process even though we initially contacted her 14 months before our wedding. She emailed when she hadn't heard from us for awhile, and was happy to chat on Skype for anything we needed to go over. 

On the day of our wedding she came dressed in rainbow garb and wearing a weeping angel hat! No one had to wonder who our photographer was in order to stay out of her way! She came up with awesome prop shots (we had few props) and some really fun ideas for our port-a-potties turned TARDISes. 

She also had a wonderful energy that helped calm my anxiety.

 Jen truly was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and the days leading up to our wedding. Jen flew to San Diego to capture our wedding. You would think it would be stressful working with an out of state photographer, not at all! I had no stress working with her via email and phone prior to the wedding. She was professional, detailed, punctual and friendly. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I love her free spirited nature and ease while working. I felt so comfortable with Jen, it was like having a friend take our photos. It's crazy because I didn't even know she was there at our wedding, that's how stealth she moves around. She was very calming to work with, even on a day with so much going on, I felt like I was in good hands and I just let her do her thing. Do not hesitate to hire Jen for your special day, she will not disappoint. 

 Pink Light Images was wonderful to work with. Jen and I had numerous conversations about what we wanted captured on the day, the vision for the wedding theme, and also who all of the family/bridal party are. During the wedding, she caught all of the important moments, even the impromptu moments that we continue to treasure. The moments that were truly special to us that may have seemed small to an onlooker. Yet Jen caught the moments and we will have those pictures for life. Beyond that the pictures were absolutely gorgeous! I continue to pour over each picture months later and am still so amazed at how each picture is an art piece in and of itself. Not to mention, she perfectly captured our Doctor Who theme and all of the tiny details that we had included in our wedding.

We had also elected to have the Rehearsal Dinner photographed. It was a board/card game theme. The laughter, the conversation and even the competitiveness, is captured in each picture. It was a wonderful start to the joining of 2 families and we will have those moments to treasure always. 

 Our wedding was in London, England and when it came time to pick a photographer, we did not think Jen would agree to hop on the 9 hour flight with us to go. I told her the situation and she said she would love to go! I felt so lucky to not only be having the wedding of my dreams, but also to know in full confidence that the pictures we would have from the day would be spectacular. The whole day went by like a whirlwind, and Jen was so quick and efficient at getting our family ready for pictures and at keeping the pace when we ran into a few time crunches. We also had a cocktail hour right after the ceremony, so unfortunately there was quite a bit of running around involved but she managed to get all of the shots we wanted. After the group and cocktail photos were finished, she worked with my husband and me alone in a secret garden area for 30+ minutes but made sure we were on time for the reception introduction. She made the rest of the day flow so smoothly and was completely unobtrusive to us and the guests.

 I knew she had tons of talent when we hired her, but so many of the shots were utterly breathtaking and looked more like they should be in a magazine than in our wedding book.

I highly recommend her for your special day/week/month/life ♥   We were married on the Hornblower Cruise in the bay of San Diego CA!
