CONCEPTUAL PORTRAITS

 Jen is an incredibly kind, talented, positive, and inspiring photographer. She has a truly unique vision, and perfectly captures and develops more than a photograph but a mood and emotion. As a clothing designer and makeup artist, I had been involved in photoshoots for a decade before ever meeting her, but Jen was the first photographer who ever asked to photograph me.  I had never modeled before and have always struggled with confidence. I devoted my life to making others look beautiful and feel strong and powerful for the camera, but had never been in front of it.  I was very nervous as a first timer and Jen put me at ease. She helped me feel confident and gave me encouragement and direction. She made me feel beautiful, and I couldn’t believe it was me in those photos (in the absolute best way possible ) Jen puts her heart and soul into her Photography, and it shows, is it is a perfect reflection of her as a person: colorful, intriguing, beautiful, and unique.”

I met Jen at a photo conference many years ago, and she quickly became one of the photographers I most enjoy working with. She is fun, has a major creative streak, is quick to laugh and puts folks at ease. While many photographers copy a few styles of photography, Jen is constantly experimenting, expanding her skills and creating unique works of art that reflect her distinctive style.  She loves getting to know her people and brings out the best in them through the lens of her camera.
